Assi river is one of the best river in the middle east  . its characteristic  (pure water , steady flow ,  cold water temperature , made from it a natural  home for salmonids family .
Since 1964 a family business rise, first salmonid rainbow trout farm was established in Lebanon and middle east , on a land fully of waterfalls (25000 m2 ) across Assi River fifteen pond were  based , fertilized eggs transported from Europe and farmed to be harvested and sold in Lebanese ,arab  and Gulf market ,  in 2009 an European fertilized  egg  supplier introduce a new hybrid ( mixture between Atlantic salmon and steel head trout ) this new hybrid have the same specification  and morphology and better  quality . Named silver steelhead salmon (fresh water salmon). Don Carlo introduces this hybrid to their aquaculture line.  Our farm produce early around 250 tones harvested and sold to Arab countries.
